Hotel Lobby AI Cats: Make Your Pet Rap in the Orange Booth

The most viewed version of the Hotel Lobby trend isn't a celebrity. It's two cats. A Hotel Lobby AI cats clip on X passed 7.8 million views, more than any human version we found. This guide shows how to make a Hotel Lobby AI cat video with your own pets — two cats, a dog and a cat, or you and your cat — and which photos give the best result.

Why Hotel Lobby AI cats work so wellCopy Anchor Link

The joke of the Hotel Lobby AI trend is an unexpected duo in a very serious rap setting. Cats are the most unexpected performers there are, which is why the cat Hotel Lobby trend took off and rapping cats AI clips keep circulating. In a good Hotel Lobby cats video they don't just sit near the microphone: they stand up on their hind legs, point with a paw, spin around with their tail to the camera, and finish nose to nose at the mic.

That last part took us some tuning. In our first cat test, the cats mostly sat and one dropped to all fours to turn around — cute, but it looked like real cats rather than cats performing. We changed the template so pets stay upright for the whole video, even while turning. It now works for dogs too.

Three ways to make a Hotel Lobby AI pet videoCopy Anchor Link

Two catsCopy Anchor Link

The classic Hotel Lobby cat video. Two different coat patterns make it easy to see who's who.

Two cats in landscape. Each cat keeps its own markings for the whole clip.

A dog and a catCopy Anchor Link

A Hotel Lobby AI dog and a cat together is our favourite contrast. Choose Pet for both sides.

You and your petCopy Anchor Link

The funniest pairing we've made: a grandpa and his ginger cat, with the cat standing as tall as him. Choose Person on the left and Pet on the right — when you pair a person with a pet, the pet goes on the right side.

A person and a cat. The cat does the spin and points its paw back at the end.

Photo tips for Hotel Lobby AI cats and dogsCopy Anchor Link

• One animal per photo, filling a good part of the frame.
• The face clearly visible — both eyes, ears not cut off. A pet looking at the camera works best.
• Full body if you can, so the model sees the coat pattern, tail and paws. Sitting or standing both work.
• Good light, no filters. Distinct markings come through better than a dark, blurry photo.
• Collars and clothes are kept, so a bandana or a tiny jacket makes it even better.

Your pet doesn't need to be standing in the photo; the template makes them stand. It just needs to see what they look like.

What happens in a Hotel Lobby AI pet videoCopy Anchor Link

Your pets perform the same 15-second routine as every Hotel Lobby AI video:

1. 0–4 s — the right pet points a paw forward while the left one bobs its head.
2. 4–8 s — closer shot; they face each other and gesture with their paws.
3. 8–12 s — the right pet lifts a paw across its face, turns around (tail to the camera) and turns back.
4. 12–15 s — nose to nose at the silver mic: a paw to the mouth for the "hush", then they point at each other.

Add the official Hotel Lobby sound when you post and the moves line up. Our step-by-step guide shows how.
